Single Engine Commercial
The Single Engine Commercial Courses at Career Pilot School enhance your precision flying skills while preparing you for professional single engine flying. Students learn maneuvers such as chandelles, lazy eights, eights-on-pylons, steep spirals, and 180 accuracy landings. These maneuvers greatly augment your flying skills. Regardless of your eventual goal in aviation, out Single Engine Commercial course will make you a more sound and experienced pilot!
Each day consists of about 3 to 5 hours of single engine commercial flight education. Those 3 to 5 hours are spent on the ground and in the air garnering the knowledge expected of a Single Engine Commercial Pilot.
Career Pilot School utilizes a syllabus to organize the course, but we are always flexible according to our students' needs. The day typically begins at 8:30am and ends at 5:00pm. If it is necessary, some lessons may extend into the evening hours. However, we do realize the students learn much better when their basic needs are fulfilled, so we always allow more than enough time for eating, sleeping, and general relaxation. We urge students to explore Kansas City or Lakeport after a long day of flying in order to unwind from the rigors of flight education.

These are attributes are exactly what you want in a Single Engine Commercial training aircraft. Our Piper Arrows are equipped with WAAS Garmin 430, a second nav/com radio, autopilot, intercom, and a Sandel SN3500 EHSI.
Career Pilot School is pleased to offer the Cessna 152 as our ADD-ON Single Engine Commercial training aircraft. Our 152's are the perfect economical aircraft to train towards your Single Engine Commercial ADD-ON if you already possess a Multi Engine Commercial Pilot Certificate.
The total price of the INITIAL Single Engine Commercial Course is $5,875.00. This price includes training materials, flight time up to 22.5 hours, flight instruction, ground instruction, and up to four weeks of housing. If the course cannot be completed within the hours advertised, the student has the option of paying for extra flight time and flight instruction at a per hour cost.
The total price of the ADD-ON Single Engine Commercial Course is $4,525.00. This price includes training materials, flight time up to 22.5 hours, flight instruction, ground instruction, and up to four weeks of housing. If the course cannot be completed within the hours advertised, the student has the option of paying for extra flight time and flight instruction at a per hour cost.
