Career Pilot School offers a multitude of financing options for our students. For our College Degree Program students, we generally use NextStudent and MyRichUncle. For our Career Pilot students, we have a myriad of financing possibilities, though Sallie Mae is the most commonly used lender.
Sallie Mae owns or manages student loans for nearly 10 million individuals. It is the nation’s leading provider for college and flight schools loans. SLM Financial®, which is a Sallie Mae® company, can provide you with a loan for your flight training needs.
In addition to Sallie Mae, we have the ability to refer students to aviation financing brokers, who will look at your specific training needs and find a financing package that will allow you to complete your flight training on time.
We will personally work with any student to help them get financed so that they can begin pursuing their dreams!
Career Pilot School, LLC Deposit and Refund Policy
Accelerated Training seeks to provide individuals with one hundred percent immersion in Aviation Education over a short period of time. This is accomplished by scheduling company resources for a specific amount of time. During this time period, those resources are only available for use by the individual who has reserved that specific training slot. It is our goal to provide the best possible flight instruction. We do understand that circumstances arise that lead to the cancellation or discontinuance of an Accelerated Training Program. Therefore, Career Pilot School, LLC, has developed the following policies in order to provide the highest quality Accelerated Flight Training to our clients:
1) Upon enrollment in an Accelerated Training Program, the enrollee must make a non-refundable deposit of $1500.00 to hold their training slot.
2) Upon arrival for the first day of training, the Accelerated Training Program will be paid in full with Check, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, Credit Card, or any combination thereof. If the student’s training is financed through Sallie Mae, the first disbursement shall be scheduled for the first day of training.
3) The enrollee may cancel his/her training slot prior to their scheduled start date at our training facility with the knowledge that his/her non-refundable deposit will not be refunded.
4) Once the enrollee has started his/her training, if the enrollee decides to discontinue an Accelerated Training Program, there will be no refund unless one of the following conditions is met:
A) Discontinuance of the course due to illness.
B) Discontinuance of the course due to a family emergency.
C) Discontinuance of the course due to a reason discussed with Career Pilot School, LLC personnel prior to discontinuance.
5) Once a student discontinues an Accelerated Training Program, Career Pilot School, LLC, reserves the right to take the following actions:
A) If the student does not contact Career Pilot School, LLC, to inform of his/her decision to discontinue the course prior to that action, no funds shall be refunded.
B) If the student informs Career Pilot School, LLC, of his/her wish to discontinue due to reasons 4.A, 4.B, or 4.C, the student will be refunded the total amount, minus the non-refundable deposit, and minus the cost of each pro-rated training day provided by Career Pilot School, LLC.
6) The enrollee can expect a refund within 30 days of the discontinuance of the Accelerated Training Program if the above conditions are met.
