Commercial Pilot Certificate
The Accelerated Commercial Certificate Course prepares a pilot for Single Engine Commercial flight. Graduates of our Commercial Pilot course can gainemployment in various areas of aviation.
Each day consists of about 7 to 9 hours of commercial flight education. The Accelerated Commercial Certificate Course utilizes a syllabus to organize the course, however we are always flexible according to our students’ needs. The day typically begins at 9:00 A.M. and ends at 5:00 P.M. If it is necessary, some lessons may extend into the evening hours. However, we do realize that students learn much better when their basic needs are met, therefore we always allow more than enough time for eating, sleeping, and general relaxation. We urge students to explore Kansas City after a long day of flying in order to unwind from the rigors of accelerated flight training.
Career Pilot School is extremely flexible when it comes to the aircraft used for this course. If you are an aircraft owner, we highly recommend using your own aircraft as it better prepares you for your real world experience upon completion of the course. If you are not an aircraft owner, Career Pilot School offers a Piper Arrow for your use. The Commercial Certificate requires 10 hours of Dual Instruction in a complex airplane. Our Designated Pilot Examiner is flexible enough to allow you to accomplish all of the Commercial maneuvers in a non-complex airplane except for the takeoffs and landings. Please let us know if you are interested in this option.
The cost of the Accelerated Commercial Pilot Program is $4350 when completed in our Piper Arrow and $2100 when completed in your aircraft. This price includes training materials, flight time up to 20 hours, all flight instruction and all ground instruction. If the course cannot be completed within the hours allotted, the student has the option of paying for extra flight time at a per hour rate. In the rare event that this occurs, there is no additional flight or ground instruction charges. Above prices do not include sales tax, housing, or the practical test fee.
