Career Pilot School has one mission: To ensure that our students receive the best flight training available and that they leave our facility as the most competent pilot they can be.

Career Pilot School is a Part 141 Approved Flight School.
Career Pilot School is located just a short ways southwest of Kansas City, Missouri and is an ideal training center for flight education. Students here will learn to fly in the same challenging weather conditions they will be expected to fly in upon becoming a professional pilot. Our proximity to cities both large and small allows students to learn, first hand, what separates busy class “B” airspace from uncontrolled, smaller airports.
Students flying at Career Pilot School will spend considerable time in the aircraft, and also receive demanding training in our RC-1 simulator. The AATD is a critical teaching tool with its ability to “freeze time, especially for instrument training, though we place emphasis on teaching in the sky providing weather conditions permit. Our simulator is offered free of charge for students to gain added experience or to help master a difficult to learn concept.
We do not emphasize “safety pilot” time in any of our programs. During the Career Pilot Program, students will fly 100 hours in a multi-engine aircraft, as opposed to 50 hours at the flight controls and another 50 as a “safety pilot” watching for traffic, while both log Pilot in Command time.
